Does MXGP 26 have a career mode?
Not a full one. Nacon calls Championship a "career-lite" mode: you pick a season and race it, with no rider career, contracts or offers like MXGP 2020 or 2021. In the launch developer interview the lead producer said the team rebuilt the basics first and will focus on a good career mode in the next game.
Can you change controls in MXGP 26 on PC?
Yes, since the first PC hotfix on October 1, 2026 (6PM CEST). The launch build had no key or button remapping on Steam, which was the most common complaint in the first reviews.
How many tracks and bikes are in MXGP 26?
19 tracks from the 2026 MXGP and MX2 calendar and 16 bikes, according to Nacon's launch post. Offline races hold up to 20 riders in MXGP and 16 in MX2.
Is MXGP 26 on PS4, Xbox One or Switch?
No. The launch post lists Steam, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only. No PS4, Xbox One, Switch or Switch 2 version has been announced.
Does MXGP 26 have crossplay?
No. Artefacts Studio's lead producer confirmed in the launch developer interview that there is no crossplay between PC and consoles in MXGP 26. They say they are looking into it for the next game.
Does MXGP 26 have DLSS or FSR?
Not at launch. Players asked for both in the hotfix thread on Steam, and the first PC hotfix notes do not mention upscaling.
How many players can race online?
Up to 10 riders per online race, in public ranked lobbies with Elo or in private lobbies.
Why is there no engine sound?
Several players reported missing motor sound on day one. Check the audio sliders, verify the game files on Steam and restart after the hotfix downloads; see the known-issues page for the full list.
How much is MXGP 26?
$49.99 on Steam for the base game. Beside it on Steam: the Fox Holeshot Pack (five Fox Racing outfits) and Scrubdesignz Liveries, which is free.
Can you remove handguards in MXGP 26?
No. Every bike has handguards and they cannot be taken off; the developers say they are looking into it for the future.
