Nacon posts read:
PC hotfix 1 (October 1, 2026, 6PM CEST)
- Custom keybinds: controls can now be fully remapped on PC
- Online physics: better bike physics for clients in online races
- Physics polish across the game
- AI improvements on every track in MXGP and MX2; AI no longer goes off track at Arnhem; AI behaviour on slopes fixed at Foxhills
- First-person camera smoothed again to cut jitter and shake (FOV still affects how much you notice it)
- Online: smoother view of other riders, fixes for joining sessions, known online crashes fixed
- Crash fixed when opening Player Progression
- Speed Regulation Assist deactivated because it could stop the bike accelerating
- Johannesburg: Holeshot now triggers
- Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese text fixes; updated track screenshots; UI and gameplay fixes
Launch (October 1, 2026)
- Full 2026 MXGP and MX2 season: 19 tracks, 16 bikes, official riders
- Grand Prix, Championship, Time Attack, The Compound and Online
- Dynamic track deformation, three surfaces (hard pack, sand, clay) in dry and wet
- Assist profiles from Amateur to Expert, optional manual stand and sit
- MXGP TV for Steam players; Nacon says an MXGP TV FAQ follows later in launch week
What the first hotfix means for you
- Remapping: open the controls menu again after the update; launch-day reviews that said "can't change controls" were written before it. Our controls page covers the defaults players disliked.
- Speed Regulation Assist is gone for now. If your bike would not accelerate in some sections, this was the cause. Nothing to do on your side.
- First-person camera: Nacon says field of view still changes how much shake you notice, so try a few FOV values before giving up on the view.
- Johannesburg: the Holeshot now triggers, which matters for the What a Start! and Full House achievements.
What the developers say comes next
In the launch developer interview, Artefacts Studio's lead producer said post-launch work will follow player feedback from Steam, PlayStation and Xbox, starting with bug fixes that affect compatibility on some PCs. They also named grip and terrain deformation as areas they will keep tuning from feedback. Crossplay and a full career mode are framed as next-game plans, not patches.
Not fixed yet
The hotfix notes do not mention DLSS or FSR, a frame cap, or missing engine sound, all of which players raised on launch day. They stay on the known issues page until a patch note says otherwise.
