What launch players report

Settings to try first

  1. Drop the internal resolution scale before touching anything else. Without DLSS or FSR it is the biggest single gain; 75% at 1080p is what the 4070 Ti player settled on.
  2. Cap the frame rate in your GPU driver if the game will not do it, at a value your PC holds in a full 20-rider gate. Steady frames matter more than peak frames over bumps.
  3. Lower global illumination and shadow quality; a player in the hotfix thread named global illumination as the setting they would happily lose.
  4. Install on an SSD. Both spec tiers recommend it.

Crashes on start-up and missing sound are covered on the known issues page.

PC questions

Does MXGP 26 have DLSS or FSR?

No upscaler shipped at launch. Players asked Nacon for DLSS or FSR in the hotfix thread; the first hotfix does not add one.

Can I run MXGP 26 on a GTX 1060?

It is below the minimum (GTX 1080, 8 GB). With launch-day reports of choppy frames even on an RTX 3070 at low settings, a GTX 1060 is not a safe buy.

How big is the download?

26 GB on Steam, and an SSD is recommended in both spec tiers.
